Community Leadership

For the majority of my career I have been involved in working with the Pagan community in various forms.  Whether that be in events, advocacy, coaching, worship, or liaising with other national Pagan organisations on legislation, policy and education - It's always been most important to me that our community have fellowship.  Places and spaces where they can feel safe and know they are not alone.

My biggest achievement is launching Pagan Pride UK with the help of the amazing community of Nottingham and beyond! It became a well anticipated date on the annual event calendar and even won an award for Best Large Outdoor Event.  I am beyond grateful to the countless people who gave their time and energy to create such a special celebration.

The community organisation was founded by Esme Knight in 2009 with the goal of raising visibility and acceptance of the Pagan community among the wider public, dispelling misconceptions and advocating for accurate representation in the media. The free festival event in Nottingham ran for ten years, hosting a 'pride' parade through the city streets followed by an event of live music, talks, stalls, dance, and community attended by thousands of people
