We are taking bookings between 2pm and 6pm for a 10 min slot at this years convention, offering Papa face-painting. There's an advance booking form below where you can reserve a slot for £1 booking fee, if you want to make sure you get a time convenient for you - but you can also just walk up on the day and book any remaining available slot.
You don't even have to decide which of the eight Papa designs you want to be yet, just tell us on the day!

Don't be a Monster . . .
A GUIDE TO BOOKING ETTIQUETTE
Here's a few courteous things you can do to make yours, and everyone else's, experience run as smoothly as possible.
As you no doubt know - Cons can be busy and there is a limit to the number of ghouls I can paint in any given time frame. In order to take as many bookings as I reasonably can, I'm on a pretty tight schedule, therefore anything you can do to help me keep the ghoul train running on time - is GREATLY appreciated! That said, sometimes I run behind, so if that is the case please be patient - I will get to you.
ON ARRIVAL :

Please arrive 5mins before your time and check in on the booking sheet - If I'm busy painting ghouls with my back to you - I might not see you arrive.

Once I am finished with my previous ghoul I'll refer to the booking sheet and I'll call your name. So please stay close by.

While you wait, please remove any bulky collars or clothing around the neck/shoulders and if your hair is long, please tie it back. This is to prevent getting any make up on your clothes or cosplay.

Also use this time to make your final decision on which Papa design you would like - this means I can get going straight away and avoid running over the time.
IF YOU ARE LATE - I might not be able to paint your face straight away, or at all depending on how full the bookings are. So please don't get mad at me or any other ghouls that are there on time and waiting.
ALLERGY WARNING :
I use Snazzaroo Face Paint - if you have any allergies or reactions to this type of make up, I'm sorry I won't be able to paint your face. If you are not sure - then I recommend doing a test at home the week before by putting a small dab of Snazzaroo behind your ear. If you do have a reaction, wash it off immediately and go see a medical professional.

I've always loved dressing up . . .
That love for theatre, costume, make up has never gone away - in fact it's only grown as I've got older. I consider myself a multi-passionate creative and costuming and make up is only one string to my bow.
I was on stage from a young age, studied BTEC Performing Arts in college, and worked in professional theatres in both wardrobe and backstage crew as a lighting tech throughout my twenties. I have also worked for The Dungeons historical horror attractions, first in York, then in London, where I had the opportunity to develop my special effects make up skills.
I have a love for character design and this can be seen in my work on concept music videos, photoshoots, and in my D&D cosplay. Horror and spook make up will always hold a special place in my cold dark heart though, along with all things Halloween. It's the BEST time to dress up and get creative!
